It was late Congress leader G. K. Moopanar’s 90th birth anniversary today.
To mark this occasion, his son G K Vasan ( who heads the Tamil Maanila Congress – M party now) took part in a small function held off Justice Sundaram Road near Nageswara Rao Park, Luz.
Local residents were given saplings and sweets were distributed.
