Autos serviced at gas station mess up residents’ life in CIT Colony

Despite strong objections from CIT Colony residents, a private auto gas station based on TTK Road is the cause of traffic congestion in this once-quiet colony.

The Go Gas station, which opened sometime ago, has created a entry gate on the CIT Colony side – one, because the TTK Road is a VIP route often used by chief minister M K Stalin and police do not allow any form of parking here: and two, because it is easy for the station to get autos to form a queue in the colony and come into the gas station.

So through the day and the night , dozens of autos queue in the colony’s 6th Cross and create a problem for the residents – the price paid for continuing commercialisation of the area.
