The ration shop located on the ground floor of the Chennai Corporation complex in Alwarpet has been shifted to a GCC space where the Mylapore MLA’s office is also located, diagonally opposite the old shop.
This shop was flooded after Sunday’s rain; water not only entered the store form the roadside, C P Ramaswamy Road but also seeped through the floor here.
