The season for sharing is here.
A few priests who are at the Pastoral Centre in San Thome gifted a set of saris to be given to families who have in their midst mentally ill people. These families reside in the kuppams off the Marina.
They are cared for by volunteers who work for The Banyan’s out reach programme here.
20 women were gifted the saris – they reside in Kuyil Thottam, Doomingkuppam and in Nochikuppam.
