Carols. Camp fire. Dinner. Pre-Christmas event at this San Thome church

The church community of CSI St. Thomas English Church at San Thome got together on Sunday, December 19 for an evening of carols, presented by the church choir.

As the church is currently under renovation, the congregation gathered in the semi-permanent hall in the campus.

The STEC Choir led by Anila Manoharan filled the air with their spirited singing of popular carols old and new, along with a selection of melodious compositions. The Presbyter, Rev. J Paul Sudhakar delivered a brief Christmas message.

The performance was followed by a lively campfire in front of the Church, with games in which everyone participated enthusiastically. Santa Claus made a brief appearance too. The evening ended with a Christmas dinner for members and their guests.

The STEC Carol Service was streamed live on the Church YouTube channel for the benefit of those who could not be present. You can watch it here: https://bit.ly/3E66kgD
