There will be two special Holy Masses at the San Thome Cathedral on Christmas eve this year.
The English service will start at 9 p.m. with a shop.m. with a carols singing session followed by Holy Mass.
The Thamizh service is scheduled for 11 p.m. with a session of Thamizh carols by the church choir followed by Holy Mass.
The Masses are to be held in the open air in the cathedral campus though the mist has been rather heavy nowadays.
“We cannot hold Mass inside the church because a large number of people attend Christmas night Mass,” says Fr. Ritchie Vincent, assistant parish priest.
