The state health care machinery continues to target people who have not taken the vaccine. Their staff go on intense campaigns on Saturdays.
This Saturday, we saw health care workers going from door to door in congested areas and thickly habited colonies across Mylapore and giving the jab to those who had not taken it and were willing to.
One such area targetted was PNK Gardens which lies east of the Buckingham Canal and is a congested area. It was also the area where when the pandemic reached its peak, many Corona cases were reported and some streets had to to be barricaded.
