An international photography contest has been opened by Vivekananda Cultural Centre ( located off the Marina beach) of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore.
The themes are among others, on service to society, nation building and nature resources.
The host expects photographers to align the themes with the thoughts of swami Vivekananda and Mother Sarada Devi. The contest is held to mark 125 years of the return to Indian by swami Vivekananda from the International Parliament of Religions, USA where his talks made a signal impact.
