The election machine is rolling faster now that elections to urban bodies has been announced.
Training sessions are being held today in some city schools for men and women, mostly drawn from state-run and aided schools and from state departments to acquaint them with the polling process due on Fab.19.
This morning, these sessions began in a few classrooms at Rani Meyyammai Girls School in R A Puram. The participants were mostly school teachers from across the city.
The proper use of the EVM was demonstrated.
