Fathima Nursery and Primary School is attached to Our Lady of Guidance Parish in R.A. Puram. Father Y. F. Bosco, the parish priest of the church, is the correspondent of the school.
The school has classes from L.K.G. to standard 5. There are 10 classrooms located just above the St. Lazarus hall on this campus.
These classrooms were renovated. New toilets have been built and a fresh coat of paint has been given. The flooring and ceiling too has been renovated and new windows have been put up for better ventilation. This work went on for the past 3 months, said the parish priest.
The renovated school was blessed and inaugurated this past week by Fr. Jesudoss, SDB, the administrator of St. Bedes School, San Thome.
Fr. Lourdes Marcel, assistant parish priest and Bro. Satish were present at this formal event where teachers and a few students also participated.
Julie, the headmistress of the school said that the current strength is 208 students and that admissions for the school from L.K.G. to class V for the academic year 2022 to 2023 are now open.
