S. Badri of V. S. V. Koil Street, Mylapore passed away on February 7. He was 66.
Badri retired as private secretary in the office of the DG of Police of Tamil Nadu, working at the TN Police headquarters offices in Mylapore for many years. He spent his long career in government service.
The son of late Swaminatha Iyer (AHM of Hindu High School, Triplicane), Badri went to P. S. (North ) School and then to Vivekananda College, Mylapore.
He was passionate about Thamizh theatre and acted in plays. The family has been residing at V S V Koil Street for over five decades.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter and her family.
