Nandala Seva Samithi Trust based in Mylapore organised International Women’s Day event and presented ‘Nanda Deepam’ awards to women achievers in various fields.
These were the awardees –
Kalpagam Nagarajan, administrator of Mathru Seva Annadaanam at NSST,
Amritha Murali, wellknown Carnatic music vocalist & violinist
Seetha Devi, a Covid warrior, founder of Street Vision.
Pavithra, who has combined philanthropy with business at Vindhya E-infomedia
Ashwini, who is working for upliftment of rural women at Meghshala Trust
Bhageerathy Ramamoorthy of Anandam Trust, Ambattur presided over the function. Although the programme was webcast, a small gathering was organised at the Nandala premises on Dr Ranga Road for the presentation of awards in person to the awardees.
