Uddhava Gita in Thamizh; book released

A spiritual-themed book titled – Uddhava Gita ( Eliya urai nadaiyil ) in Thamizh, written jointly by K. S. Chandrasekaran ( Om Murugashramam, West Mambalam ) and Dr.  V.  Mohan ( assistant director, C P Ramaswami Aiyar Institute of Indological Research) was released on February 26, 2022 at C P Ramaswami Aiyar Foundation, Alwarpet.

Dr. T. P.  Radhakrishnan, principal, Sanskrit College, Mylapore presided over the function and released the book.

He also spoke on the importance of Uddhava Gita which is in the eleventh Skandha of Bhagavata Purana. He congratulated the authors for their effort in bringing out such useful treatise in simple Thamizh.

K.S. Chandrasekaran, one of the authors speaking at this event said that the Uddhava Gita is as much valuable as the Bhagavat Gita and that is why the authors had decided to bring out this book in Thamizh since Uddhava Gita has not been written in this language by many people.

Dr. Nandita Krishna, president of CPR Foundation welcomed the gathering and Dr. V. Mohan proposed a vote of thanks.

Swami Hariprasad of Sri Vishnu Mohan Foundation, Prof.  K. Srinivasan, former Principal, RKM Vivekananda College and Prof. R. Thyagarajan, retired HoD, Sanskrit Dept, Presidency College were among others who participated in the function.
