This evening ( April 19), at Raga Sudha Hall, Luz, the Kalki Krishnamurthi Memorial Trust observes Kalki Memorial Day.
At the formal event, felicitations will be offered to writer Subra Balan and publisher Vaanathi Ramanathan. Professor A. R. Venkatachalapathy presides.
At 7.00 p.m. Bharatha Punya Bhoomi is the theme of a classical music concert based on a variety of patriotic songs by Dr. Gayathri Girish, with B. Ananthakrishnan on violin, S. Ganapathi on mridangam/tabla and N. Ananthakrishnan on veena.
