Arjun Sai presents ‘mikeless’ kutcheri at Nageswara Rao Park Sunday morning

13 year old Arjun Sai presented a one hour mikeless kutcheri at the Nageswara Rao Park as part of the monthly series organised by the Sundaram Finance Group on the first Sunday of every month.

Arjun, who is learning music from guru C.R. Vaidyanathan, was accompanied on the violin by Avantika
Saravanan and on the mridangam by Sarang Raghavan. Interestingly, all the three artistes this morning have
learnt music from guru Vaidyanathan.

Arjun presented compositions that included Thyagaraja’s Narada Guru Swami (Darbar/Adi),
Muthuswami Dikshitar’s Kayarohanesam (Karnataka Devagandhari / Rupakam), Shyama Sastri’s Triloka
Matha (Paras / Adi) and Lalgudi Jayaraman’s Tha Tha Dhim Tha dhim (Madhuvanthi/Adi).

the end of the kutcheri.
