University Womens Association, Madras is holding its centenary celebration on August 20, Saturday, with an event at the MGR Janaki College for Women in R A Puram.
Dr Vaidehi Vijaykumar, vice chancellor of Mother Teresa Womens University is the chief guest. Bhamathi Balasubramaniam, retired IAS officer, secretary to the Govt. of India and Justice Prabha Sridevan are special guests.
The event is at the MGR Arangham in this campus.
Latha Rajendran is the president of the Association now.
