A woman riding a two wheeler fell into the storm water drain under construction at the Warren Road- Dr.Ranga Road junction after her vehicle overturned at this intersection on Saturday morning.
Passersby lifted her from the pit and brought her up safely. She did not suffer injuries and seemed to be all right.
As seen in the photo, this junction is posing a serious threat to vehicles with an unsighted earthen pit on the left side when you drive from Warren Road/ St Mary Road side. Traffic also has been chaotic most times over the last fortnight at this junction.
Half done work on new drains has posed umpteen problems to people.
