Civic body’s health units move into colonies to offer services during monsoon

Local units of Chennai Corporation’s health department have been a busy lot since the civic body raised its field actions after the monsoon broke out.

Teams moved into areas which are thickly populated like Pattinapakkam and its environs to set up camps and offer check ups.

One such camp was located inside a small Christian prayer hall in Srinivasapuram on Saturday last.

The local zonal teams have been asked to keep an eye on problems that are set off during this rain season – dengue, Madras eye and fevers.
