The plot of land where E4 Abhiramapuram Police Station was once located is turning into a local area garbage dump and residents of this area are wondering why the plot owner has not secured the plot and saved them the stink of this dump.
Arulvel mails and says that ‘since the time the police station structure was pulled down, the place has been converted into a garbage dump much to the inconvenience of the public. To top it all, the garbage overflows into Bheemanna Garden Road, obstructing movement of traffic, other than being a health hazard to the residents and an eye sore to all passersby.’
Urbaser Sumeet, the private civic agency has also lined a few of its garbage bins here – so the waste is spread.
