Christmas is a season for sharing and that is what the members of St. Vincent de Paul Society attached to Our Lady of Guidance Church in R A Puram remembered to do this past week.
On December 21, the Society team headed by its president Previn Vincent, hosted a Christmas meet for the poor.
The programme began with a prayer by parish priest Fr Y F. Bosco. Students of Fatima Primary School sang a couple of Christmas carols.
Then, sarees, bedsheets, veshtis, towels and cake boxes were distributed to 50 students from Fatima Primary School and Saint Lazarus Middle School and to 100 elderly people of the parish.
