Pushpa, a middle aged woman living in Nambikkai Nagar is afflicted with a spinal cord problem and has been unable to move around.
She approached the St. Vincent de Paul Society unit of Our Lady of Guidance Church in R. A. Puram for help.
Previn Vincent, the President of the unit found her need to be genuine and the unit provided her with a wheelchair. It was blessed and handed over to her by Fr. Y. F. Bosco, the parish priest of the church.
Pushpa’s family was also given rice and provisions.
Pushpa has two children, a son who is 18 years old and works as a painter and a daughter who is studying in Class 6 in St. Antony’s Girls School where she gets free education.
