Following the reading of the lagna patrikai last Wednesday, the preparatory work for the Panguni Utsavam that starts on March 28 began today at Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple.
Workers unloaded all that is needed to set up a temporary roof inside roof the temple premises. Work on this has already begun this Monday evening.
Later, the temporary roof over the Sannidhi Street area will also come up.
