Kartik Fine Arts presented senior artistes with special awards on Tamil New Year’s day at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore.
Maestro mridangist Dr. T. K. Murthy and veteran dramatist K. S. N. Sundar were presented the Kartik Lifetime achievement awards 2023.
Senior violinist Meera Sivaramakrishnan, playwright Poovai Mani and theatre actor Swayam Prakash were been chosen for Kartik Awards of Excellence 2023.
These awards were presented during the sabha’s 48th anniversary celebrations on14th April 14.
Prof. V. Kamakoti, director, IIT-M, was the chief guest.
