The community in and around Kallukaran Street, Mylapore are gearing up to make the IPL final between CSK and Gujarat Titans of this T20 cricket tourney a fun event on Sunday evening.
A big screen will beam the match live from 7 p.m. and a few stalls are be set up on the street side where snacks and cool drinks will be sold.
There are 50 odd families who reside in this zone that borders the tank of Sri Madhava Perumal Temple, Mylapore.
Senior resident and community activist K R Jambunathan says that he expects children and adults to sit in the open and watch the match.
Pasillai-nagaram Arakattalai, a small NGO whose founder resides here has made this arrangement.
