It has been a year since Arka Kids, an initiative of Ideal Play Abacus India Pvt ltd (IPA) was started in Mylapore.
The programmes this centre offers, include toddlers, nursery, Kindergarten and certified Montessori teachers’ training.
The curriculum of Arka Kids is powered by TATA Edge, ie, books and educational materials from TATA Edge are used in this school.
Sharing more details, Sharada Sriram, managing director, said, “We admit children from the age of 2 to 5 years. We have small class sizes led by experienced and qualified staff. Our phonics classes and the curriculum we follow are enjoyed by children and appreciated by parents.”
She says that her company has been in the education sector for 20 years and “we keep upgrading our curriculum.”
“Our school is unique since we bring a world of experience in phonics and early education. We also have Sanskrit classes. We plan to add music and dance for the toddlers soon,” adds Sharada.
Arka Kids also has day-care facilities which run from 10 am to 6 pm. There is also a canteen facility here.
