Though the annual Sports Day of St. Bede’s Anglo Indian School was held over a few hours, it had colour, drills, events and a grand finale.
Held at the school’s playground in Mylapore ( behind the AIR campus), the event began at about 8 a.m. and the finale was held at about 11 a.m. on July 21, Friday.
Customs and GST officer Richard O’ Connor, an ‘old’ Bedean, was the guest the finale. He handed over trophies to various winners.
The school band was in the middle of it all, providing music to a hectic Friday morning. The Headmaster, his priest colleagues and school faculty, were present.
