Even as many people were glued to their TV sets or to their smartphones to follow the path of Chandrayan-3 as it made a landing on the moon on Wednesday evening, there were small celebrations in some areas of Mylapore when the landing was formally announced by ISRO ( Indian Space Research Organisation).
On Thursday morning, at P. S. Higher Secondary School, Mylapore, during the Assembly in the school ground, a prayer was said ‘for the successful landing of Chandrayan-3’, said a note from the school.
All the students and the teachers were present at this meet.
