For many decades, this heritage house at No.12, Mathala Narayanan Street, Mylapore has been hosting the annual saint Thyagaraja aradhana, which honours this Carnatic music composer on the day of his mukthi.
This year, the arandhana here is on January 30, 4.30 p.m. onwards.
The composer’s pancharatna kritis will be sung by a group led by Yogam Santhanam and her students. Other artistes will accompany the group. Rasikas can drop in and participate.
