Chennai Corporation’s sanitation department has made an effort to sanitise an area around the stage and the gym inside GCC’s playground on South Canal Bank Road, R A Puram, popularly called Alphonsa ground.
Workers were seen cleaning the area recently.
Users of this ground and local residents treat this space as a toilet.
Hundreds of people play here and there is no public toilet on campus.
