A new MTC bus shelter was formally opened on Saturday on San Thome High School, opposite Archbishop’s House in place of the existing one.
Mylapore MLA Velu was present with local partymen for a formal opening.
The MLA’s name is highlighted on the shelter, obviously refering to his funding of it from the MLA fund.

This shelter maimed a big shady tree of its branches.
I took pictures.
Of what use is this publicity bus shelter which neither provides shade nor is it required. There is another shelter and many used to stand under the shade of the tree.
Did not your information givet think of it gross injustice done here to tree and those who loved standing under its now axed branches?
And why has no report of St Dominic Savio school ground being mailed by metro rail cranes evet find mention? Partial vision or something? I have pictures …..but when you don’t value truth and those who say it…it’s useless.
