A small patch of greenery under huge peepal tree on R. A. Puram’s 4th Main Road was formally presented to the community at an event held on Sunday, March 3.
The Mylapore MLA, Dha. Velu, took part.
This green spot under a peepul tree was developed under the state government’s scheme called Namakku Name Thittam promoted by GCC . This scheme was introduced two years ago as part of Singara Chennai project.
RAPRA, the local association, says it is the first community body to have collaborated in this scheme.
