Every year, at its Mothers Day event, Sri Krishna Sweets honours the mothers of people who have made a mark in various spheres.
The 2024 event, called Salute Mothers, takes place this evening ( March 6), 6 pm onwards at Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet.
Among those who will be honoured are A Savithri, mother of Isaikkavi Ramanan, Janaki Vembu, mother of the SOHO founder and Andal Aghoram, mother of the CEO of AGS Cinemas, Archana Kalpathi.
Guests on stage are writer Sivasankari, arts promoter Nalli Kuppuswami and Ramadasa Rao, head of the hotels association.
