About 30 women who reside in different parts of Mylapore are now attending a free sewing course at a private hall in Mandavelipakkam.
This camp was initiated by Mylapore MLA, Dha Velu and is supported by AMD Foundation and Exnora International.
“At a previous camp on zari craft and stitching, some women requested a tailoring camp and that is why this one has been organsied,” said the MLA.
The camp started on April 30 and runs for two months.
