Make-do walk way created in Nageswara Rao Park. The area was zone where new drain was laid

Patch work continues inside Nageswara Rao Park in Luz, which was ravaged on one edge by the laying of a new stormwater drain late last year.
This new civic work ripped away a section, north to south, of the walk path on the outer ring of the park, and when work ended, there were mounds of earth, broken down park furniture and twisted open-air gym equipment.
In recent weeks, JCBs have cleared the earth and waste and workmen have laid what seems to be a temporary walk path that runs atop the new storm water drain.
The first design for a new-look park that GCC has plans to raise here, did not touch on the drain per se.
The MLA had said he suggested that the walk path run above the drain.
