Kartik Fine Arts sabha launches its 34th edition of Kartik Rajagopal Kodai Nataka Vizha on April 22 at 6.30pm by its president S. N. Srikanth at Narada Gana Sabha main hall.
Twelve Tamil plays, all of them new ones, will be staged from April 22 to May 3 at this venue daily, starting at 7 pm.
Leading playwright- directors Ratnam Koothapiran, Mapillai Ganesh, M. B. Murthy, P. Muthukumaran, Augusto, Fathima Babu and V. Sreevathson among others are featured in this annual festival.
A number of awards will be given for the best plays and artistes based on the reviews by a team of judges. Rasikas will also get prizes for the for best reviews on each play. The shows are free and open to all.
