Since this morning, basic facilties have been put in place at polling booths in many booths in preparation for voting in the TN legislative Assembly election due on April 23.
At Chennai Middle School, Prof.Sanjeevi Street, at 9:30 a.m, the place was cleaned but nothing else for voting day needs was seen.
There are five polling booths located in the campus of St.Raphael’s Girls Higher Secondary School, San Thome.
Workers were fixing tubelights and setting up the furniture here.
The same was the case at booths inside San Thome Higher Secondary School, San Thome.
We were told poll staff will arive later in the day.
