The food zone on C. P. Ramaswamy Road keeps getting hot. There is a new ice cream parlour – in the place of Havmor.
Hocco Ice-cream it is called. Products are made in Anand, Gujarat (The back story – the Chona family, the legacy creators behind the iconic Havmor ice cream brand, sold out years ago, are now promoting Hocco)
A small, standard scoop starts from Rs.60 – prices vary according to the flavours and toppings. A Biscotti scoop is priced at Rs 75 and the Swiss Cake is at Rs 85 per scoop. Mocha Brownie is a hit among children – Rs 80 per scoop
The shop is open 11 am to 11pm, all days of the week.
