Durga Coffee House was a tiny Udupi snacks joint sandwiched between large stores on North Mada Street, Mylapore. It downed its shutter some months ago. In its place now is Rasas Tea Kadai.
It has a smart loo and offers tea and coffee, samosas , fruit Juices ( rise milk too) and other snacks. The bun butter jam is special here – we were told they use top quality Amul butter!
In the evenings, they serve bonda and bajji, puffs and veggie rolls too. Caters to the street shopping and temples-hopping community.
