Residents of Thiru Vi Ka 3rd Street, off Royapettah High Road, Mylapore say that sewage water has been draining out on to the road for some days and has created a pollution issue.
“This has been happening for quite a while now and it occurs intermittently, ” said Sreevidhya, a resident, who also shared photos of the civic issues.
“The road is covered with stagnant dirty water and it is impossible to walk on the street. This could also affect the health of the residents,” she added.
They hope local area Metrowater officials will address the issue and set it right for good.
