Sister Mano recently took charge as Headmistress of St. Raphael’s Girls Higher Secondary School, San Thome.
She belongs to the FMM congregation of Catholic nuns.
Sister Mano took charge on June 5 after serving for six years at Sacred Heart Girls Higher Secondary School, Thanjavur.
She says that many students require guidance, encouragement, and opportunities to grow. “Leadership is an opportunity to serve fellow students, listen to their concerns, and work towards their welfare,” she said.
She also highlighted the importance of guiding children on moral values and responsible use of social media.
She said that the welfare of children remains the school’s foremost priority and that education should focus not only on academics but also on discipline, values, and character development.
