A beautiful peacock was spotted on a tree near Kala Flats on Dr Ranga Road a few days ago.
It stood there for more ten minutes and moved on.
This photograph was shot by Aparna Sivakumar, grand daughter of mridangam maestro Umayalapuram Sivaraman a, a resident of Dr Ranga Road.
Later, Parthasarathy of Mithila Flats on Justice Sundaram Road, near Nageswara Rao Park spotted peahens / peacocks on the terrace of the apartment and shot some photos.
Peacocks and peahens have been spotted in Mylapore over the past few months.

I too spotted a peahen earlier in July at the Forensic Sciences department campus next to DGP office.
The peacock was in my house at abhiramapuram 4th street (July 8th) and at my husband’s office at Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai office (July 9th).Have pics and videos of it if you want.
