Uratha Sinthanai Association felicitated eminent novelist Sivasankari for beinf decorated with the Padma Shri award recently. It honoured Sivasankari with the title ‘Manitham Potrum Manushi’.
This event was held on June 26, at P. S. High School auditorium, Mylapore.
Popular writer Pattukottai Prabhakar organised the event along with Udhayam Ram of Uratha Sinthanai.
A short film on Sivasankari’s life and achievements was screened.
