The Golden Chronicle is a commemorative coffee table book celebrating the 50-year journey of P. S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore.
And it will be released at the grand golden jubilee Annual Day celebration of this school scheduled on August 7 and 8 at Narada Gana Sabha, 314, T.T.K. Road, Alwarpet.
T. R. Santhanakrishnan, chairman, Data Tracks, Singapore is the chief guest at the August 7 event and Dr. J. Radhakrishnan, IAS, director general, Anna Institute of Management and Training is the chief guest at the event on Augutst 8.
Dr. V. Kamakoti, director, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is a special guest on August 8.
There will be the formal part of the event as well as a showcase of cultural events on both evenings.
While a school souvenir will be released at the August 7 event, the book will be fornally launched the next evening.
Edited by the school principal, Dr. Revathy Parameswaran, the book highlights the institution’s significant milestones and pays tribute to the visionary leaders whose dedication and foresight shaped its legacy of excellence. The book captures the school’s evolution into a centre of holistic education, where academic rigour is complemented by character building, creativity, and values.
