Two wheel chairs available at Sri Kapali Temple lie in a corner and nobody knows if they are in good condition.
A senior citizen at the temple suggests that the wheel chairs must be repaired and be parked close to the eastern entrance for easy access and signage is a must to locate them at one place. He says temple staff may ensure the wheel chairs are always parked at the same place.
The carts which were donated by Sundaram Finance some years ago and another set provided by a bank last year are also not to be seen. Some months ago, one cart was spotted inside the community hall of the temple in Venkatesa Agraharam Street.
These carts were meant for seniors ; to transport them from points on Mada Streets to the eastern entrance.
One temple goer said that he has seen one cart in use.
