If you have plans to shop for bommais for the Navaratri season and to ass to your kolu collection this is the time to do so on the Mada Streets of Mylapore.
At least 25 hawker stalls have set up shop, mostly on North Mada Street from the Indian Bank end to the Mangollai end.
Most hawkers open for sales after 3 p.m. though some are open since 11 am.
Bargains are always welcome.
