It is now evident, that the fire at State Bank of India’s branch spread slow and severe and destroyed a lot in the ground floor.
The severe damage was seen after Fire and Police personnel entered the premises after the fire, said to be ignited by an electrical short circuit, was put out.
Furniture, files, cabinets, A/Cs and fans, PCs and systems and all the bank needs for day to day operations was destroyed.
Fire Services arrived at State Bank of India branch on Luz Church Road, near Nageswara Rao Park around 5 p.m. on Sunday evening.
The guard alerted bank staff as soon as he noticed something amiss.
What looked like a minor fire turned out to a major mishap.
