The C. P. Ramaswamy Aiyar Foundation will present the Saraswathi Puraskaram for 2026 to Aravinth Kumarasamy, the artistic director, Apsaras Dance Company, Singapore.
The annual award recognises a person who has made signal contribution to the performing arts.
This function will be held on Saturday, September 19 at 4 p.m. at the Foundation’s campus on Eldams Road, Alwarpet.
The award will be presented by eminent dancer-guru Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam. Hari Shankar, secretary, Narada Gana Sabha, will preside.
Later, Apsaras Dance Company artistes. will present a dance production titled ‘Amara’: The Enchanted Citadel.
The event is open to all.
