After a long weekend holiday, schools in the neighbourhood opened today, Nov.14. It was also Children’s Day. Several events and cultural activities were held in many schools.
At Lady Sivaswami Ayyar Girls’ School the students had group singing, debate and fancy dress contest (seen in the photo).
The students of MCTM located at Luz Church Road had a cultural performance during their morning assembly.
Students were treated with sweets. At some schools students had the privilege of seeing their teachers perform for them.
