101 songs of Papanasam Sivan to be rendered by group of Rukmini Ramani

This Sunday, Radha Kalyanaraman (grand daughter of Papanasam Sivan) and her students along with Dr. Rukmini Ramani, will be rendering 101 songs composed by him. The event will be presided by eminent musicians with inaugural address by Srimushnam V. Raja Rao (mridangam maestro) and Dr. Vaa. Ve. Su (Retired Principal Vivekananda College); valedictory address by T. V. Gopalakrishnan. Guest of honor is Rukmini Ramani , daughter of Papanasam Sivan.

The program starts at 9.15 a.m.. The songs will go on through the day and the vote of thanks will be at 6.30 p.m.

The event is being held at Dr. M. G. R. Janaki Arts and Science College for women. The event is organised by Shivanugraha.
