Mylapore MLA R. Natraj has had a busy weekend around the neighborhood. His activity included going around the Luz Avenue area and meeting people inside Nageswara Rao Park, Luz.
Many Luz Avenues have been critical of the garbage management in the area, accusing managers at a community hall, local food hawkers and tender coconut vendors of dumping large amounts of waste at street corners.
Much after the MLA posted on hgis FB account, photos of his rounds of the area Mylporeans have responded saying that the waste dumpers must be checked instead of off-on responses.
The MLA has also done the rounds of Pallakkuman Nagar, the sprawl of Slum Board blocks off Luz Church Road to keep an eye on waste clearance – Ramky staff here said on Saturday that they would be at work the whole day.
Natraj also visited houses in Srinivasapuram where the sea has been lashing the houses close to the shore. He made arrangement for basic relief.
